How long does it take for Domain Verification at Step 2 to complete?

Depends on the TTL set on your A/CNAME records — recommend TTL between 300-600 seconds. Some hosts fix TTL at 3600s (1 hour) and don't allow changes; in that case just wait for propagation. Monitor at dnschecker.org.
