Installing SSL Certificate on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Upload via the EC2 Management Console: EC2 → Load Balancer → select your load balancer → Listener tab → Edit → Add → HTTPS → "Upload a new certificate to IAM" → paste privatekey.pem, certificate.crt, cabundle.crt → Save.

IAM requirements: X.509 PEM format; current date within cert validity window; single item per file (not a bundle in one file); private key must match cert; key must be wrapped in -----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY----- / -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----; key must be encrypted with a password.
