"Not all authorizations are valid" error at Step 2

Last updated April 3, 2021 · Install SSL Certificate · cPanel Free/Premium · Support

Three fixes, in order:

  1. Most common cause: WordPress installed in a subfolder (e.g. /home/bcyh6ur88/public_html/site) instead of root (/home/bcyh6ur88/public_html/). Check via WordPress Admin → Tools → Site Health → Info → WordPress Constants → ABSPATH. Fix by moving WordPress to the root folder (back up first) — this also then covers all subfolders under one cert.
  2. Re-run the plugin setup (for Premium, make sure the premium plugin file itself was uploaded, not free).
  3. Deactivate any other SSL plugins — they can conflict with SSL Zen.
