Refunds & cancellations — policy and how to ask

Policy: every SSL Zen purchase includes a 14-day money-back guarantee — if the plugin didn't work out within 14 days of purchase, you get a full refund, no questions asked. You keep access to the free version either way.

To request a refund or cancel:

  1. Email support@sslzen.com from the email address you purchased with (or use the Contact Us page inside the plugin), and say which you want: *refund* (money back) or *cancellation* (stop future renewals — you keep access for the period already paid).
  2. Include your site's domain name if you can — it helps us find the purchase instantly. You do not need to send invoices or card details.
  3. Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Cancel a subscription yourself: SSL Zen → Account in your WordPress admin shows your plan; cancelling there stops auto-renewal immediately. Purchases are handled by Freemius (our merchant of record), so the charge on your statement may appear as Freemius.

Please don't open a bank dispute/chargeback for a normal refund — we honor the guarantee directly, and a direct email is refunded much faster than a bank process (which takes weeks and freezes the amount). If you've waited more than 2 business days for a refund reply, email again with "URGENT REFUND" in the subject — it routes to a same-day queue.
